This week we are racing at the Park City Invite on Friday October 4th. The meet info is listed below. This is a great race & a wonderful course. We are leaving MMHS at 1:45pm on Friday. Junior High student athletes will be checked out at 1:25pm & the high school student athletes will be checked out at 1:30pm. We need to know if you are not going to this meet by end of practice on Tuesday. We as a TEAM would like to make this Friday a great racing experience and also a great TEAM night as well. We as coaches are going to provide dinner for the TEAM after the meet and we will be going to the MMHS football game vs. Wasatch HS on our way home. You will need to bring $5 to get into the football game. We will support our TEAM & our School this Friday night. It will be a really fun night.
Side notes for everyone:
Reminder that the Apple Fundraiser due date is this Tuesday October 1st and the fruit will be delivered on Wednesday October 9th. This is a great way to raise money for your Footlocker trip.
Monday at practice we will be discussing Footlocker and the cost increase for this experience. Due to the rising cost of transportation & the increase in Disneyland prices the cost has gone up this year to $365 which will be due on the 7th of October. This is a great experience and still is one of the cheapest student trip experiences at the school.
Also reminder that we added a race on Tuesday October 8th at the Spanish Fork Sports Complex more info about this meet will come next week.
Thank you all for all your help & support! Congrats again to all of you who raced well on Friday! We are proud of you. Keep up the great work, keep believing, keep working together & great things will come.
Happy running,
