Golden Eagles,
It was great to finally meet so many of you at the coaches night. We were so excited to get to see so many familiar faces and meet so many new ones. We know that our teams will work hard, have fun, and be very competitive right off the start. We were glad that so many of you are so excited for the start of Maple Mountain Track and Cross Country.
There are a few things that you all can do right now to help our team next year. First we encourage all of you to participate on your respective schools Track and Field teams for this season. Work as hard as you can this season, learn as much as you can, and be as supportive of you teammates as much as you can this season. This above all will help us next year. This seasons experience that you will all gain at Spanish Fork High, Springville High, Diamond Fork Jr. High, and Mapleton Jr. High will help our team out for next year. So good luck to all of you and your teams and be involved in your teams this year. Second thing that will really help us at Maple Mountain would be for all of you to bring a friend or two out to your respective schools track programs this season and bring a friend or two for next season. We know that some of you have never done Track or Cross Country before and that is OK come anyway
. It is a lot of fun and it will help you in anything that you do.
We have been busy ordering supplies for next season and have been looking at several different types of uniforms. If any of you have a preference then just let us know. We will be posting our final designs on the blog in a little while so you all can see them.
Again we want to thank all of you who came out to coaches night it was great to meet the future Golden Eagles. We are really excited for what each one of you brings to our new school. We would like to wish good luck to all of you Golden Eagles who will be running at Simplot next week.
