Footlocker Results & Indoor Track Info

Golden Eagles --

Well how do you put into words this footlocker trip? FUN!!! Highlights of the race for our team were; Rachel Warnick  medaled in the frosh girls race (44th place), Lindsay Schuring(35th place), Hayley Knapp(36th place), Brette Bennett (41st place) all medaled in the junior girls race. Paxton Patey medaled (32nd place) in the boys all west frosh race, and Isaac Faux medaled as well with a 2nd place finish in the same all west frosh race. Issac was also the top placing freshman out of all the boys races placing (58th overall). Spencer Hanson was the only Maple Mountain runner in the seeded race and placed 50th overall in that race. Other highlights would be the return of "batman watson", "the tutu trotters", "the racing managers", "the sunglasses racers", and so many more. Great job to all of our runners. Thank you for all of your hard work and good attitudes this season.  Full race results can be found at http://www.footlockercc.com/2010/results/westresults.php

Footlocker is always  a happy and sad time. Happy for the chance to race again, for getting to go to the beach, and for the time at Disneyland. However sad for the end of the cross country season. We as coaches want to thank all of you for a great season, a wonderful trip, your good behavior during the trip, your support of each other, and us as coaches, your friendships, and for so many great memories. Thank you cross country family. Thank you. Now is the time for all of you to take a well deserved break for your body and your mind. We want you to stay away from running for the next 7 to 10 days or so.(we are going to leave that to your individual discretion based on how much rest you think you need). Try to stay active and to not be lazy. Try not to think too much about running - instead, give yourself a rest and come back refreshed, excited, and ready to work for some PR's in indoor and outdoor track.

The indoor track meeting will be on Thursday, December 9th at 3:00pm in Coach Wyatt's Class room. We expect to see all of you there. Also bring all of your Friends. To the members of our Track & Field Family we cant wait to see you all and run with you all again.
Thank you,
--The Coaches
