Golden Eagles—

Some upcoming dates and info for this week and the rest of the season:

Thursday we are hosting a Special Olympics track meet at MMHS. We will discuss this meet at practice. This is a wonderful way for us to give back to our community. This meet really is a chance where we always seem to get more from it than the service we give. Tuesday & Wednesday are also times to provide service for the Maple Mountain community as we host Hersey Track meets for our elementary schools. This is a great way to give back. Coach Wyatt will be asking a few of you to help out at these meets.

Thursday: Special Olympics @MMHS practice at 3:00pm
Friday & Saturday BYU Invite, this is a full day meet both days and it is a qualifying meet.

Meet schedule can be found at: http://www.byutrack.com/various/Special/Meet_Info/2013-14/BYUHSInv/BYUInv-14.htm
This meet is also part of our fundraiser for our TEAM. If you are not participating in this meet you will be helping run this meet. We need all the members of our TEAM to help. The more we have the better it is for our TEAM. Full details for departure for this meet will be given at practice this week. We will be working on a sign up list this week during practice so that we have both days of this meet covered. It is a great way to support your TEAM and also get to watch some great track and field action.

Wednesday & Thursday May 7th & 8th Region Championships at Wasatch High School.

Tuesday May 13th JV Region at Provo High School

Friday & Saturday May 16th & 17th State Championships at BYU.

Thank you in advance for your help with the upcoming week. Thank you and keep working and stay focused on the fundamentals & the basics and success will come. See this season through to the end.

Happy Running, Jumping, and Throwing,
--The Coaches
