Nebo Invite Results & Park City Invite Info & other notes

Golden Eagles –
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Thank you to all of you who helped us host the Nebo Invite. Thank you to the many parent & student volunteers & others who helped us with this meet. All we can say is Thank you! There were several fast times on this course, congrats to all of you who raced well at the Nebo Invite! Full race results can be found at www.runnercard.com  Congrats to Britney Lund & Megan Gutke for earning medals at the Nebo Invite placing 3rd & 8th overall!

This week we are racing at the Park City Invite on Friday October 4th. The meet info is listed below. This is a great race & a wonderful course.  We are leaving MMHS at 1:45pm on Friday. Junior High student athletes will be checked out at 1:25pm & the high school student athletes will be checked out at 1:30pm. We need to know if you are not going to this meet by end of practice on Tuesday. We as a TEAM would like to make this Friday a great racing experience and also a great TEAM night as well. We as coaches are going to provide dinner for the TEAM after the meet and we will be going to the MMHS football game vs. Wasatch HS on our way home. You will need to bring $5 to get into the football game. We will support our TEAM & our School this Friday night. It will be a really fun night.

Side notes for everyone:
Reminder that the Apple Fundraiser due date is this Tuesday October 1st and the fruit will be delivered on Wednesday October 9th. This is a great way to raise money for your Footlocker trip.

Monday at practice we will be discussing Footlocker and the cost increase for this experience. Due to the rising cost of transportation & the increase in Disneyland prices the cost has gone up this year to $365 which will be due on the 7th of October. This is a great experience and still is one of the cheapest student trip experiences at the school.

Also reminder that we added a race on Tuesday October 8th at the Spanish Fork Sports Complex more info about this meet will come next week.

Thank you all for all your help & support! Congrats again to all of you who raced well on Friday! We are proud of you. Keep up the great work, keep believing, keep working together & great things will come.
Happy running,
--The Coaches

BYU Results & XC notes for 9/16 -- 9/21

Golden Eagles –
This past weekend took us to the BYU Autumn Classic. Britney Lund ran a great race placing 2nd overall and Elli Eastmond placed 14th, Isaac Faux rounded out our top scorers by placing 15th overall in the boys race. Several other athletes ran well and also improved on their times.
Great job to these athletes and to all of our TEAM who stepped up and accepted the challenge to help out and fill in, even at short notice, on our TEAM, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Full meet results can be accessed at www.runnercard.com

Now items of note for this upcoming week Tuesday the 17th is the last day for the peaches fundraiser and that money is needed in the finance office by Tuesday the 17th. We also need a count of how many boxes you need at practice on Tuesday. The peaches will be delivered to MMHS on Friday so you can take them to the people who ordered them from you. Wednesday is also a Nebo District development day (even earlier out day than normal) and we will discuss practice time for that day at practice on Monday. Finally for this week we are going to cancel our meet for this Saturday & will try to reschedule a meet on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the coming weeks. Repeat we are NOT racing on Saturday.

Thank you all for all of your support for our TEAM, it means a lot. Now let us remember to do the little things, work together, work hard, and “Become” the Champions we can become!

Happy Running!
Thanks,
--The Coaches
