Delta Invite Results & other notes

Golden Eagles,

"Remember that there is ALWAYS more that can be squeezed out!" Lets focus this week on getting more out of ourselves and our TEAM.

This past week gave us two meets to report on. The first one was a region tri meet at Springville High School. Full meet results can be found here: http://shs.nebo.edu/sites/shs.nebo.edu/files/TriMeet%203-29-11.pdf It was a great meet and there were a lot of moments and races where you could see the progress you all are making. Thanks to all of you for taking on the challenges we as coaches gave you to work on. One of the biggest highlights of this meet was to see the whole TEAM participate in a 4x400 relay. This was a fun TEAM building thing that we hope to continue in all of our region tri-meets in the future. It was great to have 9 girls & 14 boys 4x400 teams. Congrats to the boys throwers for beating some of the runners and earning the pizza for the TEAM. We hope it tasted as good as it looked. Great job.

The second meet of the week was the Delta Invite in which both our boys and girls TEAM’s took 2nd place. This meet showed us as coaches a lot about our TEAM & it gave us as a TEAM some great lessons to be learned. It also provided several PR’s & season best marks for many on our TEAM. All in all with the 40+MPH head wind that everyone had to compete in, the good competition, the time with TEAMmates, it was a good meet for our TEAM. Full meet results can be found here: http://results.runnercard.com/Results/results.jsp?meetid=3254 Some of the Highlights for our TEAM from this meet include but are not limited to; Hayley Knapp having a great day winning the 3200 meters and placing 2nd in the 1600 meters.
