Hope you have had a wonderful Easter & Spring Break.
Great job at the UVU invite. We were able to get 8 qualifying marks and were
close to getting a few more. Thanks to all who participated in this meet and to
all who gave up their Saturday for this meet. Let’s dig deep and keep up the hard
work and as we “Be one” great things will come.
Now this week April 8 – April 13 is a very busy week for us.
Let’s go over the details of this week for you.
Monday & Tuesday is normal Practice at MMHS
Wednesday is the Underclassman Invite at Wasatch HS. This
invite is for all the freshman and sophomores on our TEAM. This gives you
underclassmen a chance to compete and get some quality marks. The juniors and seniors
will have practice as normal at MMHS. For our underclassman the bus will leave
MMHS at 2:30. The Junior High kids will be excused from class at 2:10pm the
students at MMHS at 2:15pm.
Thursday we have normal practice at MMHS and than at 7:00pm
at MMHS is one of our Fundraisers. This is a Hypnotist show that starts at
7:00pm. It is $5 and ALL members of the TEAM are expected to attend and bring a
friend or two. This is a very funny & easy fundraiser. Please bring your
friends and family to this event!
Friday our TEAM will be participating in the Juab Invite.
This is another State Qualifying meet and we are limited to the numbers of
athletes who we are allowed to take to this meet. We will leave MMHS at 11:45am
to go to this meet. Students will be excused at 11:30 for this meet. This is a
good quality invite and great chance to qualify for state. Make the most of
this opportunity.
Saturday we wish the best of luck to all of our TEAM members
who will be taking the ACT! Good luck on the test and enjoy the weekend without
a track meet.
