This idea of working all the way to the end is not just something for track and field, but also for your school work, and for life. As you keep working and see it through to the end good things will happen.

Now this upcoming week of April 15 – 21 we have one meet scheduled and it is the Utah County Invitational on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st at Mountain View High School (650 West Center Street Orem Utah) This is a great meet for our TEAM for several reasons, first it gives us another opportunity to get those state qualifying marks, second it gives us an experience with a two day meet which is what State & Region are with trials and finals, and third this meet is at Mountain View High School which is were the Region Championships are held and it gives us a chance to compete at this facility so we are familiar with it when Region comes around in three and a half weeks. As a TEAM we help BYU run these track meets. BYU in turn gives our program fundraiser cash. This is a great chance to help our TEAM by getting to watch track and field. If you are not competing in these meets plan on helping work these meets.

Keep working hard in practice, keep supporting each other, keep doing the little things to take care of your body inside & out. Let’s see this season all the way through to the end and good things will happen.

Happy Running, Jumping, and Throwing!
